PVC pressure tube in gray
PVC pipe gray
The properties described in this specification are implemented in the manufacture of pressure pipes made of PVC. These are pipes made of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U), which are used as delivery lines for water and other liquids. Due to their stability, sustainability and load capacity, PVC pressure pipes are ideally suited for the transport of liquids under pressure of up to 10 bar. PVC pressure pipes can last for many years if expertly installed and do not release pollutants to the environment. In addition, PVD pressure tubes contain no heavy metals and can be fully recycled at the end of the life of an installation.

Since the pipes are connected by adhesive sleeves, PVC pressure pipes can be installed quickly and adequately. An adhesive bond is optimal in this context, since both the inside of the adhesive sleeve and the pipe end is bevelled.
Plasticizer-free polyvinyl chloride K67 (PVC-U) with a calcium-zinc alloy as stabilizer and filler. Pressure pipes have a light-dark gray pigmentation.

impact resistance
In order to provide sufficient resistance to external shock or impact under normal operating conditions, the tubes are subjected to a load test in accordance with NEN-EN 744 and ISO 3127.
pressure resistance
In order to ensure sufficient resistance to internal water pressure under normal operating conditions, the pipes are subjected to a load test in accordance with NEN-EN 921 and ISO 1167
subjected. Chemical resistance PVC provides sufficient resistance to most acids, salt solutions, water-soluble compounds and alkalis. PVC does not resist aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons. In particular, avoid contact with: acetone, acetic acid, benzene, bromine, chlorine, chloroform, ether, naphthalene, oleum, nitric acid, toluene, tetrachloroethene, trichloroethene, xylene and sulfuric acid.
packaging
PVC pipes are preferably packed in packages. This ensures optimum quality during transport and storage.
