Sealing material for metal pressure pipe systems

There are suitable sealing materials for every type of pressure line, including our metal fittings & fittings. Unlike plastic pressure pipes, where a lot of work is done with adhesives or clamp connections, metal threaded fittings use different sealants.

When it comes to seals for metal threaded fittings, there are many ways to seal the threaded connections. One possibility is the use of a Teflon tape, which is wound around the thread. It is important not to turn back after tightening the screw, otherwise leaks may occur.

The other possibility is to work with a PFTE thread thread or quite classic with our sealing hemp in combination with a sealing paste - for example Neo Fermit.
